Advertisements are like a face-to-face meeting—you only have a few seconds to make a great first impression. I work with clients to understand the image and tone they're aiming for and make sure their most important message gets through.

Case Studies:

Joel Bass of Invincible Fuzzy Thing and I collaborated on two ads for award-winning remodelers H & H Builders LLC. The first, designed for Nexus Magazine, emphasizes the warmth and comfort of home. The Montevista Condominiums needed a new ad that would appeal to people relocating to the Greeley/Evans area. Working with Pageworks Communication Design, I wrote the ad and came up with a tight and to-the-point headline that spoke to the target audience: "Great Move!" View the finished ad.

Droy Advertising created an earlier version of this ad that used Hockey to support its "Equipment" metaphor. They needed a new tagline to go along with the baseball image. I suggested "Load the bases in your favor." View the finished ad.

When the Institute for Nutraceutical Advancement was acquired by NSF International, the sponsor-supported organization asked me to write and design an ad with several objectives in mind: To include the sponsoring companies, to announce the new relationship, and to encourage the participation of new sponsors.
